Getting There

The cheapest way to get to Innsbruck is to fly to Munich with Easyjet. If booked early this will cost about £50-£100 return. Once there you simply go down to the train station which is under the airport, get a tube to Munich East and change for Innsbruck. When you buy your ticket, you will be given a print-out with train times and platform numbers to you destination (German efficiency).

The train journey lasts about 2 hours and meanders through some mountainous scenery. The fare is about £20 each way. For groups of 10 or more, it may be possible for Icerush staff to collect from Munich airport. The drive will take about 2 hours depending on road conditions, snow etc.

British Airways , Lufthansa and Austrian Airways fly into Innsbruck (some with a change), but these flights can be expensive (in the region of £200). Once at Innsbruck train station, simply jump in a taxi and ask for the hotel in which you and your party are staying. The fare up the hill is usually 10-15 Euros.
